It wasn's too bad.

Great performances. At times it felt like a well-made After School Special, but the third act really hit the mark with a twist that I never saw coming and elevated it to something much more profound.

I thought it was a good film. The story was interesting and I do love Woody Harrelson.The subject matter is a bit hard to watch if you had a similar childhood. I couldn't read the book as the childhood neglect was too much for me.

Great portrayel of the characters from the memoir. For anyone unfamiliar with the book, the movie may seem slow.
