I thought it was a wonderful story on many levels…being deaf in a hearing world, how a family with special needs navigates their lives and how their one hearing child is conflicted between her love and sacrifice for her family and moving forward with her own life.

It is a great family movie and the bond they have for one another. There actors were great and just because they are deaf does not mean they do not know how to express their love for each other. The chemistry was definitely there and it does not take a translator to know what they are saying. Truly a great movie about a family's love. I give it two thumbs WAY UP!!

Excellent movie!!!!! I will be recommending this movie. I want to see this again.

A sincere and touching film that elegantly portrays the coming-of-age challenges of a talented high school senior while at the same time masterfully illustrating how a deaf family relates with each other and their world.
