I thought each individual scene was good, I'm not sure how I feel about the overall character arcs and plot

It is a good film with some drama and comedy. Somewhat predictable yet still enjoyable. I would reccomend it for my friends, especially those who like basketball.

It was a really great movie!

Glad to see mostly non-white cast focusing on culture, stereotype, stigma etc. of Asian or other non-white. I liked that some of the scenes made me think it's almost shot like a documentary.
