Good movie

The film was entertaining and suspenseful. The DP surely knows his landscapes, terrain shots were utilized beautifully. The director also clearly does suspense well - I really enjoyed a previous film of his, Prisoners; it kept me at the edge of my seat.However Sicario was a bit lackluster. It had good pacing but, save for Benecio Del Toro's character, there was little character development/depth.

Sicario was well acted and the action was exciting, but the movie left me with weird feelings. I wasn't totally comfortable with the subject material and the ending left me unresolved in some manner.

Slow in spots, but very good. Terrific performances by the lead cast. Extremely intense.
