It tells a very authentic tale of finding yourself in the world, and the dichotomy of one's past versus where they want their future to take them. It's a beautiful film, both visually, and the emotional storytelling. I LOVED IT!

It was the first non-white musical that I have seen and it gave me a lot of hope and pride to see people that looked like me on the big screen participating in a musical!
