Formula action film; pedestrian script. And PLEASE, no more Tom Cruise close-ups!

I thought the first film was better, this one seemed slow at times, especially with the motional scenes, expected more action!

The start was boring, the middle was enjoyable, the end was ridiculous. He jumped a couple stories from a roof, there were two people on the roof, with 2 guns, why did they not shoot him? The ran down and showed up just as the fight was over? Stupid. Could have cut the final fight, had the baddie shot in the back, and then some joke by "But i wanted to beat him" line. less annoying.
