Charming and sweet little movie with wonderful performances. Great music helped to set the mood and firmly ground the time period. A throwback to a different era, and an homage to those light romantic comedy films. I’d watch another picture with the lead actors, who had great chemistry.

I found the movie a nice flashback to the old fashioned way of telling a love story. It was wonderful to see African American characters as the leads and the center of the story. All the actors were very likeable and you kept rooting for the central couple to resolve the issues that kept them apart. A little formulaic as to the plot but in this time of COVID, a much appreciated diversion.
