Very different 70s movie. Strong story and strong acting but kinda long to get to the point of the ending. Good characters and action scenes but still not sure about why this all took place

Some missing pieces but still interesting

The direction of this movie is of high caliber. Some will say it's slow and it is but it's because the director showed great restraint in many of the film's details (mainly the pacing.) Opting to heighten the lead characters plight by allowing the viewer to share their (her) confusion, loneliness, fear etc. Cinematography, sets and wardrobe all get very high marks as the storyline takes places in the 1970s and captures it in fine detail and purpose. Acting is consistently above caliber too, especially the baby - technical performance was fantastic.

Crime drama set in the 70's where the female becomes the central character in a mob type, male dominated genre. I am woman hear me roar!
