I thought the film was very well written. It was a love story, with a tragic ending, but couldn't be helped, since this was a true story. Hard to imagine all the perils that Tami had to endure to survive......a lot of bravery, and still sailing to this day! I enjoyed it and would recommend.

Good acting and true stories are interesting, but a bit slow. I'd recommend someone to rent it.

The way they editing the movie was unique, and at the end it all makes sense why they edit the way it is.It's all memories.The movie shows the struggling and how she got through it, I just wished that the movie shows a little more of how she uses sextant to navigate more, as she probably would've kept trying and adjusted the coordinate. Also, the movie probably could show more of everything goes through her mind, in the book or the interview, they did talk about how she wanted to commit suicide, none of the action or thoughts did show up in the movie.Also, it wasn't clearly labeled where she landed at the end, we know she was aiming for Hawaii, but it was hardly could tell that it in fact was Hawaii.
