A masterpiece!

The film was spectacular, and I enjoyed every second of it!

Great energy, great cast and amazing numbers. Didn't expect to be hit so hard by the emotional side of the movie, but I was, and what a rollercoaster! Abulea stole my heart. It translates perfectly the play experience, and as always the representivity matters a lot. The Club and Alabanza are certainly the highlights

It was a wonderful screen adaptation of the musical. Having played the part of Abuela Claudia for two years at Harlem Repertory company in New York I was overjoyed to see a modern take of this powerful and innovative musical on screen. I felt represented . I relate to these stories. I am a proud nuyorican .
