The movie was overall bad. It had no resolution, no progress of the main character(didn’t age) and no overall distinct obstacle. It was like watching a boring life story. Maybe if it had the father breaking him out of jail to seek his daughters kidnapper. Or it showed the daughter visiting showing attributes the main character. It may have been more engaging.

Depressing and disgusting this side of life that is so unsavory yet must exist since it’s based on true story. Affirms image of Detroit Midwest to rest of world. California and west coast stark contrast. Ugh that this is reality to many. Don’t want to know about it. Not uplifting or thought provoking.

Very gloomy ,not very entertaining .Came close to walking out. knew what was going to happen.
