In all honesty, I took my 13-year old son hoping for a teachable moment about tolerance and acceptance. My husband, who usually sleeps during films, my son and I were swept away. We loved it. My son, the tough middle school student, actually cried during the film when he saw the pain of the main character. This film does not appeal to only one demographic. It's smart, funny, touching and hopeful.

It was a great wholesome movie. It really takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. It is really touching and relatable. It has a great message behind it as well!

It was GREAT! Not my genre AT ALL, but I was very impressed.

Surprisingly sweet... it is a true coming of age story, but felt universal, for all groups.
