Not very good. Too silly and cliched. For a first film that was great, it’s only gotten worse and worse. Also, were those European accents real???

I would tell people the magic aspect is alot of fun. The movie started good then went off the deep end with a group of magicians that can fight like ninjas and get away from dozens of police at every turn. Are they magicians or stealth soldiers? It got ridiculous, so I lost interest.

It seemed to be a simple movie that appeared to be a bit contrived. Perhaps it was make for a 'younger' crowd who may be more interested in the spectacle of a movie with little thought required to appreciate it. tThe attempt seemed to indicate that the addition of three new characters would keep the series viable if any of the heavier hitting actors left the series. It seemed more like a streaming movie than a theater movie.

Frankly, a disappointment. The new characters were not well developed. Lots of CGI and "movie stuff" but not much in the way of magic. Dialogue was contrived and seemed to be rather unrehearsed. Seemed like a hurried, low budget rehash of what was once an interesting storyline.
