Movie was "ok", might recommend to someone who felt a connection to Marie Curie or X-Rays. I felt like most of the characters weren't developed enough for me to care for them, and the plot points were largely cliches. For a biopic, I didn't really feel like I got to know Marie Curie, but rather Rosamund Pike trying to play her.

Some highlights, like Rosemund Pike's acting, but this genius scientist deserves ab out-of-the-box script, not an old-fashioned, TV-movie style mediocrity. Disappointing.

Editing felt rough. The flash forward into future felt jarring and it felt they were kind of blaming her for things that her work was used for well after her death. An interesting subject matter that felt dull and uninteresting halfway though.

The movie had so much potential, but ended up trying to be too arty without executing it. I never really felt like I knew the main characters. Hard to stay interested when not connected to the characters.
