As a hard of hearing person myself and a teacher and counselor for Deaf students, I felt the movie was so spot -on the way the Deaf family was depicted and the problems and issues of being a CODA. I liked that they used Deaf actors and Marlee Maitlin is always wonderful to watch. The situations were both funny and sad, and I loved that it ended on a happy, yet bittersweet note.

The movie and plot line were great. The ending was slightly unresolved as it wasn't clear on what the family was going to do without a hearing person on the boat when Ruby is gone.

Very well written, enjoyed seeing Marlee Matlin! Not many movies out that I’m interested in seeing, but this was an excellent, heartfelt movie. Will definitely recommend this movie to family and friends. Thank you for the opportunity to screen this online, especially during the Pandemic, not everyone can attend movies at the theatre now,
