The message of the movie was great and I feel that like me, many people are able to connect or idemtify themselves with the story. This is especially now with racism and political issues.

Great film. Has a good story and a convincing performance by the cast.

The ending was good but they never said what Javed is currently doing. Was he still writing for the newspaper. Since it was true story we cannot expect much to be altered from reality but didn't expect the ending. We thought he would have started writing songs for Bruce.

Pretty good story about coming of age and into the understanding of parents sacrifices for their children. I think it would be great for older teens/young adults to view. I’ve already told my 17 yr old and a few friends with teens about the movie
