Well produced, but the story dragged. Felt tired after so many other recent biopics about early 20th century scientists.

flat biopic, can't tell where the dramatization starts and the facts end

It was a fascinating background story of Mdme Curie's work, so that's what was the most intriguing part of the film. It felt a bit slow at times, but maybe that was just for character development. It did play like a theatrical performance and I could see something like this on a live stage, but I think it will be suited for the smaller screen more so than the silver screen. It may be too artsy of a film, to play wide.

I would recommend this film with caveats. It seems like there are factual bones to this narrative, but much of the emotional resonance derives from specific dialog and emotional display that would be difficult of impossible to support with documentation. It seems like the aim here is to produce a film that enables the nonscientist to find a personal connection with this extraordinary subject, but an excessive amount of liberties appear to have been taken in its production.
