Too much time spent about the family background of the firemen, some of which I assume is over dramatization. Not my type of movie. The story is best told as a documentary.

When white people die in history, they're presented on screen as sugar-coated hero's. Which was never reality, especially for a small rural town.

True stories are often good. Pointless for Jeff Bridges to be singing. Some real rough acting but minor characters.

Tries too hard to pull at your heartstrings.
