Nadine is one of the most realistic portrayals of a teenager I've seen on screen. Unruly, obstinate, and self-obsessed, she thinks the world revolves around her and because she's young it kind of does. Her struggles with loss and branching out and growing up make for emotionally accurate storytelling, and a wonderful addition to the coming-of-age genre.

The film was a very honest, biting portrayal of teenage life. I enjoyed all of the actors, Woody Harrelson in particular, and the film was incredibly enjoyable.

Amazing movie very injoyable had me laughing and crying all at once

The characters were well developed. Particularly liked the characters of Nadine, Irwin and Woody Harrelson's teacher. Plot kind of dragged in a couple of places, like when she met up with the boy she liked after her text, but all in all in was a good movie.
