My daughter though my the movie so good. I saw another screening at grossmont and I was I but lost in the movie. The intro was a bunch a women talking about why the movie was important to them. I decided to take my daughter because I thought it was still a good movie. This intro had Judy reading an excerpt from the book which gave everything a bit more context and helped me understand the relation

So whimsical and timely took me back..\rVery charming as Margaret comes of age I did a lot of smiling. She's a wonderful young actress and Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates is excellent!

Perfect for women who grew up in the 50's, 60's, and 70's. It brings back so many memorable events in the average girl's life.

I believe it’s a perfect coming of age movie for any preteen girl. This movie sheds light on and takes away some of the scariness and self doubt girls feel at this stage. Also, you learn you don’t have to be a follower or believe all of what your friends tell you about someone or things.
