Loved how it was relevant and touched upon themes such as the Latino/x identity, family, and forgiveness. I think both Luis Gerardo and Connor were amazing together and it was definitely a movie that had a great balance of comedy and drama. I really wished that I was able to see in theaters.

I really liked the fact that the scenes between the people in Mexico where filmed in Spanish. To me it adds a lot of realism to the film when movies do this. I wish they would have done the same for the text messages, instead of just showing the message in english, maybe do a transition from the spanish message to the english message to help out the audience.

I love that the movie is so relatable to a lot of people with similar experiences. Especially just because you speak a second language, they assume you do not understand English. I know it is a nice gesture when they try to speak slower and louder just in case the person who speaks a second language can understand clearly. And I also understand they are trying their best to make the other party welcome but the approach is rather annoying after some time. And the whole story is so touching when the brothers bonded in the end while trying to solve the dad's riddle.
