I was enjoying the film until they had scenes in the future. It broke the narrative theme of the movie.

There are aspects of this movie I appreciated, the alternately drab and super saturated colors, the weaving together of discoveries and future outcomes, the altered visuals to portray altered emotions and perception.\rMarie Curie is a major mind and passionate scientist dedicated to the rigor and practice of science. Unfortunately, this movie glosses and dramatizes her life like a popular media magazine biopic.

There were confusing jumps in the narrative—somehow omitting the affair Marie Curie had with the married lab partner after she was widowed—better explanation of the xenophobic tendencies in the era is needed as well. \r\rThis film managed to make me care less about these people - and its an infinitely more interesting story than told. Why is it that the scientist-based movies keep turning out as mediocre half-truths—the weather balloon one—-the one about Edison and Tesla. By trying to Hollywoodize fact, you make mediocre films—Thats why Hidden Figures succeeded, where others fail.
