Thought it was well acted by Shailene Woolley but very slow and the back and forth in time did not work from a flow perspective for me. Shot well but, again, slow and not very captivating. The romance part of the story was hokey and did not appear organic or real.

I absolutely loved Everest, and this is by the same people. That being said, Everest had multiple stories lines, kept me riveted to my seat, and had tender moments (I cried) and was very fast-paced. It wasn't a bad watch. The direction and cinematography was quite good. The plot was interesting and flowed quite nicely. Sam Claflin & Shailene Woodley acted ok. My problem with this film however is the character chemistry. The protagonists have little to no chemistry between them. They did not seem a couple let alone one that is madly in love. Tom hanks and Wilson had more chemistry than these 2

I liked it. Well acted.
