There wasnt anything fresh with this film. Seemed like an average cliche coming of age in a middle class family. It was safe & didnt take any risks. Despite taking place in the early 2000's, it still managed to give off a late 70s-early 80s vibe. Many missed opportunities.

Not sure what the climax of the story was. I found I was waiting for the story to get started and then all of a sudden there is a one liner too end the story. Disappointing.
