I thought the movie was riveting it reminded me of the passion of Christ with a twist

i learned a lot about past Japanese culture...beautiful story

One of the most powerful and thought-provoking experiences I've ever had with any movie. I will be thinking about it and living with it for a long time to come. I wish there were more movies made that were willing to engage with such important and complex ideas and questions, and I wish there were more films made that were willing to take religion and spirituality seriously.
