The film was a bit long, but it wasn't bad. However, I expected there to be way more to the trial of Patrizia. For the film to not show any of the trial itself, or of her living in jail, or even post-release from jail, seems a bit... empty. \r\rHowever, the casting was great. The lighting of the movie added to a somber mood that drew you in. And the score/soundtrack worked perfectly.

Quite an interesting film based on a true story that's straight out of Hollywood. For a story that takes such a dark and tragic turn at the end it's surprisingly funny for most of it with Jared Leto's character of Paolo Gucci being exceptionally entertaining. Even though the film is 2.5+ hours the story moves very quickly and I wish that there was maybe a bit of a slower pace to allow for more intimate character development. I also had some trouble understanding a lot of the words although I don't know if that was due to the Italian accents or perhaps poor acoustics in the theater.
