My husband and I knew we would love the movie but we had no idea just how MUCH we would love it. It was FANTASTIC; a big slice of history we should have already known about. So great to see it on the big screen too.

I loved everything about this film. The music was amazing. I love how the film tied in the culture to history and illustrated many viewpoints that have been hidden or not talked about. I loved the beautiful people and clothing. Most of all I loved the significance of this film and how it is relevant to events happening today.

It has depth and feeling. I like that the video and audio were cleaned up. It must have been difficult since the footage was old. I am glad the issue of social injustice was included. The movie is refeshing.
