This new season is going to be epic. The fight to keep Middle Earth from being under the control of Sauron has become more than just Galadriel’s mission. The quality of the filmmaking was fantastic. New lands, new magic, and deeper dialogue. The dwarves had much more accurate hair and makeup. The special effects were good, but there was a section in the first part of episode one that was way too gruesome and failed in its intended evil plot building. It became almost comical the amount they used the blood as a storyline. Other than that, it was fantastic.

I liked the story lines. Great themes, told in an intriguing way.

Very well made.
