It is an enjoyable movie, kind of sad and parts were difficult to watch.

Some elements of quirky charm never quite make drunken abusiveness palatable. Well acted and written, just not a subject I will ever consider "entertainment". Wished I had done something else for those two hours.

I thought the cast and acting were outstanding. Difficult to watch, but based on her life. Would now like to read the book. Thank you for the opportunity to attend a screening.

I thought the movie glossed over the fathers alcoholism and didn't really confront how the dad ruined the family, and that they could only thrive without him. The acting was well done but there just wasn't enough new or novel about the movie.
