This movie was all over the place. Flashes to the future that have no relevance to the life of Marie Curie. Tries to put everything into a two-hour movie which makes for a bizarrely- and erratically-paced film. Altogether, fascinating subject matter but should have just kept it as a period piece.

The film seemed disjointed. There were scenes related to the consequences of madam Curie’s research which added little to the movie.I’m guessing the filmmakers assumed people wouldn’t know why her work is relevant. The film skipped over some controversial aspects of her personal life. When the film is about her discoveries,it works. The actors were fine given the material.

This movie took an amazing story about an amazing woman and made it terrible. Acting couldn't save this. There was no pacing. The plot was incredibly disjointed. The soundtrack was disconnected from the movie. The dialogue was much too sparse. There were two interesting scenes, but the movie basically killed them with crappy music and terribly timed edits. The video transitions were so weird and slow. It felt like they had students write it, filmed it with a good crew, actors, and sets, and then had a garbage disposal edit it and slapped on royalty-free "mood music" they found online. Ugh.

The movie felt like it just immediately hit the ground running (not in a good way), and I was given no lead up time to actually be invested in her story.
