OMG! I have to say, this film is one of the best few candidates for a most-likely original idea concept for a modern sci-fi movie...even from a major production company. It was a large pleasure to see some semi-known sci-fi actors in this film as well. The aliens did provide me with a reminiscent feel of the ones in the Aliens movie series a bit, which was good.\r\rThe only noticable drawbacks were that the actors did not seem to be as shocked when looking at the aliens/environment around them for the first time. Perhaps they had no idea what the creatures / surroundings looked like on screen.

Makes me afraid of the future. We better start getting ready.

I thought the movie was great. Good action and Pratt has some great comedy mixed in. Felt almost like two movies in one. the last 40 minutes felt like it's own little adventure.

I really enjoyed the movie! I liked the script and the unexpected part where the daughter was grown, but I did predict that he and his dad would get together at the end meeting his family and all.
