It was a good, action-packed movie. The script is smart and it allows the audience to use their own intelligence. It can stand on it's own, but seeing the other MI movies will help you understand it better. It is like the franchise has come full circle to the first movie. It brought back memories of the original, showing how Ethan Hunt will go to protect his team and complete the mission.

Great action movie, best in the franchise! Strong performance from Tom Cruise. Couple parts were predictable but that's hard not to do when you're the 6th in a franchise. As great as Tom Cruise was here, the real star of the movie is the action sequences. Chris McQuarrie set up some beautiful, immersive and intense action sequences.
