It's a good film, I would say it's a family film but some kids may struggle with subtitles. But much of the film dosent require it. Nothing really new in terms of story telling but it was interesting seeing how things we use today were learned by the character. Overall good film with lots of heart, I liked learning at the end that Alpha was female. It helps you understand her protectiveness over Keba. Her motherly instincts took over and she guarded him like he was one of her cubs.

So fun to watch his journey home, and the relationship between dog and man unfold. Amazing visuals, some drama, some scary moments, and some laughs too.

Scary for my 5 year old but me and my husband loved it. It was a beautiful narrative between a boy and his friend. It was about survival and how we as humans/mammals need each other.
