Definitely not the book, but it's it's own animal. It does a great job of dropping in elements of the book for those of us who read it while injecting pop culture elements for everyone. Well balanced and seriously enjoyable.

It was awesome. Good entertainment for my teenage son who came with me. Great message and laughs as well! Definitely recommend this flick. Theater experience is well worth it.
