It was rather boring with some attempts to make her real . There wasn’t enough to connect you with the character emotionally . I think the problem overall was with the script.

We missed the first 10 minutes or so due to buffering. It was kind of slow. The watermark while necessary was a little annoying.

It was long\rNot my type of movie

The movie contained a lot of pertinent information however the artistic presentation was heavy-handed to say the least. Madame Curie's unlikability did not interfere with the impression that her work was desperately needed through the obvious passages of time. There are hints of artistry in the nods to the time- like the puddle next to the boots of the soldiers seeming to give a nod to trench foot in WWI. But the newspaper overlay on-screen earlier on in the film were too much. Perhaps the flash-forwards would serve better purpose during her walk to the after-life as after-effects of her work.
