This was an amazing movie

Loved it

It made me see the importance of Black parents telling our children about the world around them. The movie was hard to watch at times because Johnnie D was minding his business, doing what he was supposed to be doing with people who could rightfully vouch for him, and his life was still ruined by a system that insisted on being corrupt.

It was heart-wrenching and the actors were very convincing..
