Ode to the 80’s. Funny and entertaining. Heartwarming.

Very fun and enjoyable movie. The use of music (including non-Bruce music!) really set a tone and the costumes (remember crimped hair and big Madonna bows?) really anchored the story in the late 80's. If you want a movie where you are leaving the theater smiling -- this is it!

Very cute, great soundtrack. Uplifting and sweet, in the style of Bend it Like Beckham. Fun 80s hair and clothes, not to mention all the music! I definitely sang along in the theater.

This film was very moving and was much needed in terms of diversity on the big screen. However, I felt like all of the women were one dimensional and most of the other male characters. Overall, the movie was enjoyable to watch, but could have been deeper.
