Others may like it more than I. I recognize this. Too convoluted a plot. Too much violence especially with what children had to endure.

You never knew what was going on, and what happened at the end.

It was good but confusing. I got a little lost with the characters.

I really didn’t like it at first. It took some getting used to the slow pace. I think I was also trying to understand the title, trying to understand who to root for, trying to understand what the heck was going on. Did this have something to do with the baby? Who can we trust? Etc.\rBut I really liked the movie once Jean was at the cabin with the other family, sort of getting empowered. I liked seeing another time. I felt so nostalgic seeing phone booths and pay phones! I think in the end she wasn’t the woman of the dead jerk husband, but the woman of - meaning belonged to- the baby.
