I liked some elements but it was such a far cry from the original in tone and style and hoped to have have seen that

This is no where as good as the original movie. But is a fairly good as a sequel.Good acting on the part of the young girl

Really well done, but storyline is just a fan service and not really something new or interesting. The title would suggest that Doctor Sleep would be a much more powerful and interesting character with his own plot, but it's just a way to check the Overlook hotel again.

I thought this movie was interesting, I liked the concept but it felt a little bit long in some parts. There were a few moments that were surprising and I didn't quite expect. If you enjoy Stephen King's stories made into movies you would probably like this one.
