Timeless romantic tale that most would enjoy. Beautifully captures black love and wraps audience in black culture with its nods to black influence in music and pop culture. Well done.

wonderful love story

Beautiful film. The perfect holiday film that isn't about the holidays. Perfect escapism, transporting us into another time far away from pandemics and racial injustice. The only reason I wouldn't give this movie full stars is because the flashbacks were unnecessary - the movie is so enchanting, that it's looping through your mind throughtout. The music, is gently carrying the viewer through. Just lovely.
