The character fell short. But the monster scenes were REALLY fun to watch!!

I loved the monster battles the random cuts to humans took me out of the moment sometimes.

The monsters did not disappoint, but the characters were frustrating. How is one to believe that Emma would fully embrace a mindset that humans are a virus that must be eradicated and then be willing to slaughter countless people (including children), but it’s all because she loves her kids so much? Don’t believe it.

This movie will entertain yourself. It won’t win an oscar definitely but if you like Godzilla and scifi movies it is ok.
