It was a great combination of funny and scary. The scenes when Pennywise scared each student individually was great, terrifying, and creative. I expected that the 2017 IT was just a remake of the original, so I was very pleased to see that it was about how the kids got rid of them the first time. The original touched on the past when the adults were kids but never explicitly. I loved it

One of the best films of the year. A full cast of good young actors, excellent writing and production value (cinematography, lighting, direction, and score), and an amazing interpretation of Pennywise by Skarsgard. I'm really looking forward to the 2nd installment. It stands out in genre and medium that is flailing next to the longer-form television shows. A throwback to great inema storytelling!

I found it was very well done. The acting is superb. The graphics were great when they made the clown advance fast towards the characters. The visual effects of the kids floating in the sewer tornado were pretty cool.
