This was a great standalone, origin story superhero movie. Had great CGI, a good balance of humour, action and suspense. Jason Mamoa was allowed to be himself, and it brought depth to the character. I loved it.

I had to leave because all that was left was the front row. There were empty seats above. I ask Tom if I could take one of the empty seats because it was already 7:36 and the movie still had not started. He said no, he was keeping those seats empty because a lady had complained.
