Well acted but somewhat boring. It did not portray just how vicious and brutal the blacks were treated. Although the bombing and bridge scenes were somewhat jarring, they should have had more of a shocking impact. My favorite scenes, both with the most impact, were between MLK and the old man at the morgue and MLK and Coretta when she said "I know you...I know how you sound."

Strong performances unfortunately cannot make an uninspired script work. Glad it was made, but didn't arrouse the emotions it should have.

Missed opportunity to tell an important story. Movie focused on overplayed stereotypes about the movement, and tried to make you believe getting the right to vote was the most sacred goal. Portrayal of MLK not deep or complex. Overall movie very superficial and commercialized

I wasnt able to see the movie due to the theater it was held at. An altercation came about with a lying AMC employee claiming he was a manager. Very upset and disappointed. Will not attend AMC Esquire 7 again. Contacted corporate and the press. . .
