It is very compelling and really moves you to think of how much "truth and justice" the government can get away with. Here is to hoping that anybody that is incarcerated for any reason would get the treatment and equal protection that they deserve under the rule of law.

It ws well scripted. It was great to see an innocent man go free. Hated that he was subjected to such inhumanity. I am glad the lawyer took his case and didn't give up on him. As an African-American I see many similarities that we as a people have experienced ithis country. ican definitely empathize with Mahamadou's experience. This movie should be even by everyone. Definitely opens your eyes to how war prisoners are treated.

It was a interesting insight on the government dealings pertaining to Guantanamo.

I thought this movie was well written and well cast. It should be a conversation starter for how people are treated in every walk of life and circumstance. The missing piece for me was what exactly was the evidence for them detaining him in the first place. Was is simply guilt by association or was there hard evidence that he was a big part of the 9/11 attacks. People should take away that this happened over 2 administrations (really 4 if you remember that both Bush Sr and Clinton had the opportunity to stop Bin Laden before 9/11 ever happened). It crosses party lines, so if one wants to lay blame on the Bush administration they should also lay blame on the Obama administration who allowed these "prisoners" to be detained for years without charges or trial dates. I will definitely be recommending this movie to as many people as I can.
