Terrific film led by a brilliant performance by Lakeith Stanfield, which I hope is not overlooked come award time.

Shaka King is a true visionary and the hearts and souls of the cast were tangible through the screen. The rawness of their portrayal of the story truly honored Fred Hampton and the Black Panther Party.

Tense, well-constructed story. Great acting - both in ensemble and leading roles. A good history lesson, too.

Great movie with a very talented cast. This story of betrayal will leave you not only angered and wondering what could have been but also questioning your own character if faced with the same predicament.
