I thought it was a blend of Austin Powers and the Avengers. Austin Powers because of Franz's similarities with Dr Evil... Scar, eye, and relation to the protagonist. Avengers because Spectre looks like Hydra. Aside from that, some of the action scenes seemed to fall short, while some explosions seemed forced. Overall... Did I like it? It was just okay.

All the verbal dialogue was too bass and needed more mid-range and treble in order to discern the English accents. I watch British drama, but My girlfriend and I kept having to ask each other "what did he/she say"?Also, the music was overpoweringly loud while the dialogue was muffled in comparison. Because of this, the plot was difficult to follow. The action was, as always, very 007.

I did expect better toys from Q. Yes the car was cool and so was the watch. As for the storyline it dragged in certain areas. If high technology was going online then I would have expected Bond to have been in more danger than what was shown. For the bad guys could easily have tracked where he was. Also he did a very poor delivery of "Bond. James Bond" or "shaken not stirred".
