It jumped around and was a bit difficult to follow. I also think it portrayed her as very stoic, miserable, and unhappy much of the time. Maybe this is how she was perceived in her day. However, she was incredible, a genius, and yes, a rebel, but I get the impression she did smile more - she had a loving relationship and two children. I think the movie also focused a lot on Hiroshima and Japan, only a little of the positives. At first the juxtaposition was jarring and interesting. Near the end, it seemed belabored. Why must women of genius be portrayed as impersonable and crazy??
