I'd only recommend this movie to people who I know like mild scare levels in their movie going experience. I feel that there was alot of untapped potential to the telling of this great folk story, & that alot of the jump/scares being repeated, took away from what should have been a scarier movie. To be honest, I'd only give this a PG-13 rating. As, it wouldn't scare most tweens & teens.

The movie was okay. Not that scary. Very predictable

Sorry to say that LaLlarona was too predictable for me. Nothing new, The children's performance was commendable though.

The storyline was slow, perhaps there should’ve been more involvement or the events happening to other families rather than just the one family and maybe less humour since it is supposed to be scary film.
