I enjoyed the movie. The premise was interesting. The special effects, ie pulling back the shower curtain or similar were too loud compared to the volume of the rest of the movie. Although the sound was startling it made it seem overdone and humorous like in a horror/comedy movie. It seemed like there should have been more interaction throughout the movie with the friends at the party who also downloaded the app but had long lives. It was hard to keep up on when the demons were visible and when they weren't. The creepiest, most frightening part was when the brother's feet under the bathroom stall wall flipped over and next when the brother appeared while they were in the circle and Matt stepped out of the circle.

I think the premise was interesting, but the execution didn't do it justice. Having worked in an ER in the past, I found it laughable that major drugs were so easily available. This is SO far from reality. The ending was ridiculous, and not 'believable.' But hey, it's a scary movie, and not many make much sense. It was entertaining, at least.

There is a build up of anticipation regarding what the countdown to your death will entail with this movie. I like the general focus of a smaller character base inside the storyline. The music and sounds really make people jump even if there aware its coming that was nice. The overall story was fair to midland it was just a basic scare you jump theme with a couple nice touches. If the movie could have built a stronger foundation of the background of the evil and it's roots, the idea was great, would have loved to see more of that maybe through different timelines of how long this has been going on. It seemed so cut and dry it had nothing to hold onto inside the movie to want to figure out, the phone guy was funny and broke up the storyline wonderfully. I would recommend to anyone wanting a real scare that will make you jump though, great movie for that.

Nothing surprising, you knew what was going to happen.
